JOB DESCRIPTION
Support the NETCOM/9th SC (A), ACofS, G-5, Operational Engineering Directorate (OED) in provide engineering, test and evaluation, and operational, post deployment, and life-cycle of BMC products in support of the Army Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) capabilities deployed in all theaters.
Highlights of Responsibilities
- you will provide design, implementation and provide technical support, to include performing on-site visits.
- You will support the development of requirements, design, implementation and maintenance of the Army Enterprise Remedy ITSM standard design and configuration at Data Centers, Theater Network Operations and Security Centers (TNOSC), and installation Network Enterprise Centers (NEC) for integration of an Enterprise-wide standard, ITIL-based, ITSM/CMDB/SS capability. In addition, you will use the ITSM equipment in the Engineering Operational Facility (EOF) for configuration, and testing and documenting.
- You will perform operational tasks, using BMC ITSM, Analytics, Knowledge Management and other BMC Products, Unix, Oracle, and SQL product installation and integration with other enterprise management tools, including Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Tivoli, and Spectrum Network Management System (NMS).
- Provide support for the implementation of Remedy ITSM and data exchange with other NetOps tools.
- Provide Operational Engineering support to Asset, Change and Configuration Management (CM) processes in support of the Army Enterprise BMC product deployments.
- Maintain standard baseline configuration within the OED lab throughout system lifecycle.
- Perform tests of proposed changes (such as patching), and develop and test release packages.
- Assess architecture and current hardware limitations, define and design system specifications, and evaluate input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility in support of Army Enterprise CMDB, Change and Asset Management capabilities as well as other NetOps tools interfacing this capability.
- Provide engineering support for the development and maintenance of engineering and related technical documentation such as: Information System Support Plan (ISSP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and System Design Plan (SDP).
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Active Secret Security Clearance and or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Senior System Engineer.
- BS degree in Engineering, Math, or Computer Science degree is required.
- IT level I and Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) in accordance with AR 25-2.
- IASAE level II: Meet position requirements of Table C10.T4, DoD 8570.01-M certified, in CISSP as specified in Table AP3.T2, DoD 8570.01-M.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Experience with designing, deploying and supporting large scale BMC Remedy ITSM solutions.
- Have a working knowledge of Army IT Service Management processes (e.g. Asset and Change Management)
- Preferably certified in one or all of the following:
- BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Remedy AR System 7.6
- BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Remedy AR System 7.6.04
- BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Atrium CMDB 7.X

BTSI is recruiting for six openings on a DOD contract:
1. Administrative Assistant - Provide assistance with document filing, identifying documentation for shredding and ensuring proper disposal, maintaining security user lists and DD2875 documents, maintaining inventory spreadsheets, providing phone backup for absent personnel, managing escort controls. The AA will also manage office supplies, manage service provider and contractor staffing lists, taking meeting minutes and distribute to attendees, manage meeting planning and attendee lists, coordinate movement of equipment and supplies between all pertinent divisions, Ad Hoc requests, and escorting visitors.
2. Training Coordinator - Training Coordinator (1 position)
The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all training schedules, booking of training facilities, working with IT to baseline and test training computers, manage class evaluations, maintain the condition of the training room (cleanliness and facility preparedness), coordinate procurement and distribution of workbooks, prepare training materials for classroom use, track class attendance, send out notifications of available classes and changes, and maintaining the class website including class descriptions and schedules.
3. Desktop Support (3 positions) - Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support services to all users, record all calls into Remedy, route calls to appropriate technician for resolution, input resolution provided by tech and close ticket, ensure that client is contacted within SLA requirements, ensure problem is resolved within SLA requirements, help coordinate and/or perform desktop repairs, perform desktop upgrades, provide tier 2 support across multiple locations including repairing/maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and PDAs.
